How Expensive!!!!...

So since being at uni I've noticed just how much some things are so here is a list of things that I was really surprised how much they cost when I had to Buy then:

• Meat.. ok so i knew that meat was expensive anyway but when I see a pack of two chicken breasts and its prices at £3.45 it really hits home!
• Diet coke and other Fizzy drinks... £2.50 for a share bottle REALLY!
• Orange Juice... So every morning I have to have a glass of orange juice (smooth of course) its just something me and mum always do at home and I now do it here but I don't particularly like the plain own brand Tesco juice so I get Innocent but it cost little over £2 a bottle!
• Butter.. goodbye Lurpak hello Tesco own brand!
• Books... so i've got to get a few books for my course and never realised how expensive they can be one of my books was retailing at £50 I mean ok they are like 700 page books but normal books are sometimes 600 pages and still only cost £7.99
• Ice Cream... For those days where you just need a cold creamy sugary treat... £3.00, WHAT?!
• Chocolate Buscuits... cant be anything other than mcvities but I cant justify the £2 for a half pack so byebye mcvities :(

So thats my list half of these genuinely make me want to cry over the fact I cant afford them any more unless I can treat myself :(...
